Information we collect
We collect information you choose to provide and limited technical data when you use the site.
- Waitlist and contact requests: email address, name, role (facilitator or administrator), work context, organization name (optional), and anything you share about your work (optional).
- General inquiries: information you send by email to hq@sportified.ca.
- Support requests: information you send to support@sportified.ca when you need help with Sportified.
- Site usage: cookies and similar technologies described below, including identifiers used to connect form submissions with site visits.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information through the waitlist. Please do not submit information you are not comfortable sharing.
How we use your information
We use personal information to:
- Review waitlist requests and communicate about Cohort 1 and related updates
- Respond to questions and support requests
- Operate, secure, and improve sportified.ca
- Meet legal and compliance obligations
We do not sell your personal information.
Email communications
If you request an invite, you may receive email from Sportified about your request, Cohort 1, and related product news. You can unsubscribe from marketing messages at any time using the link in our emails or by writing to hq@sportified.ca.
Third-party services
We use trusted service providers to run the site and manage waitlist submissions, including:
- HubSpot to process waitlist form submissions and related contact records
- Hosting and infrastructure providers (including Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare) to deliver the site securely
These providers process information on our behalf according to their terms and our instructions. Their privacy policies govern how they handle data as processors.
Cookies and similar technologies
We use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for the site to function and to understand how visitors use sportified.ca. HubSpot may set cookies (such as hubspotutk) to associate form submissions with site visits.
You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect waitlist submission or site functionality.
How long we keep information
We retain waitlist and contact information for as long as needed to evaluate cohort fit, communicate with you, and maintain records of our relationship. We may retain certain records longer where required by law or for legitimate business purposes, such as resolving disputes.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.
If you are in Canada, you may have rights under applicable privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). To make a request, email hq@sportified.ca. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

By accessing or using sportified.ca, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
The site is provided for general information about Sportified and to request consideration for Cohort 1. We may update, suspend, or remove parts of the site at any time.
Waitlist and Cohort 1
Submitting a waitlist request does not guarantee an invitation, access to Sportified, or any particular timeline. We review requests at our discretion and may contact you for more context before extending an invite.
Information you submit must be accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit on behalf of another person without their permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the site. This includes attempting to interfere with site operation, scraping or harvesting data without permission, submitting unlawful or misleading content, or using the site in a way that could harm Sportified, other visitors, or third parties.
Intellectual property
Content on sportified.ca, including text, design, logos, and other materials, is owned by Sportified or used with permission. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit site content for commercial purposes without our prior written consent, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
Disclaimers
The site and its content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sportified disclaims warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Descriptions of Sportified, Cohort 1, and future product capabilities are subject to change. Nothing on this site constitutes a binding offer or commitment to deliver specific features on a specific schedule.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sportified and its directors, officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.
Where liability cannot be excluded, our total liability for any claim relating to the site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and the province in which Sportified operates, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that province for disputes arising from the site or these terms, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
Changes to this page
We may update this privacy policy and these terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the updated privacy policy and terms.
